About CanTicket — Built by an Agency Owner, for Agency Teams
Our story · Est. Australia

We were tired of duct-taping a business together.

CanTicket exists for one reason: small businesses deserve one place to run the work, see the team, and keep clients close — instead of stitching four tools together and hoping nothing slips.

How we came to be

It started with one founder, pulling her hair out.

Cassandra was running an agency with a team and clients spread across Australia, New Zealand, the USA and Pakistan — and using three or four different tools just to keep track of her people and her clients. Support requests, billing, deadlines: all of it living in different places.

Then came the lightbulb moment. What if every client and project interaction lived in one place? She could finally see the work, the hours and the margin without switching tabs. And so CanTicket was born.

Today it's a cloud-based platform that lets small businesses track time, accumulate expenses, manage deliverables and keep clients updated around the clock — with no updates to install. So teams can focus on what they do best: serving their customers.

No more death by a thousand subscriptions. One platform, built by agency owners, for agency teams.
Straight answers

The questions we get asked most.

About the people behind CanTicket, and why an agency ended up building its own software.

Who founded CanTicket?

Cassandra Cadorin. She has worked in media and marketing agencies since 2007, starting on premium FMCG brands. In 2011 she headed up a development team in the UK for a leading hospitality agency, and left agency life as Account Director for a leading pub company marketing agency and its destination venues.

Why was CanTicket built?

Because the tool she needed did not exist. Cassandra was running an agency with a team and clients across Australia, New Zealand, the USA and Pakistan, using three or four separate tools to track her people, her jobs and her clients. Support requests, billing and deadlines all lived in different places. CanTicket is the single place she could not buy.

Is CanTicket built by agency people or software people?

Agency people. The team came up through print, watched the agency model turn full circle into digital and tech, and now runs an agency that builds tech. Every workflow in CanTicket — job bags, timesheets, quoting, invoicing, client updates — is one the team ran manually first, which is why it is shaped around how agencies actually work rather than how software is usually sold.

Who is CanTicket for?

Small service businesses and agencies that bill for their people's time. Beyond marketing and creative agencies, the team has worked across hospitality and destination venues, professional membership organisations, and industrial and agricultural businesses — all of which run on jobs, hours and client relationships.

Where is CanTicket based?

Australia. CanTicket PTY LTD is an Australian company, and the platform is used by teams across Australia, New Zealand, the USA and Pakistan. It is cloud-based, so there is nothing to install and no updates to run.

Where AI stops being a talking point and starts showing up in the numbers. CanTicket meters what AI costs per job the same way it meters people, connects to the rest of your stack through its API, and reports both to the finance and board views that need them.

CanTicket is cloud ERP and job management software for small businesses and professional services teams. It brings project management, time tracking, job costing, invoicing and staffing into one system with live margin visibility, so you can see exactly what every job, client and staff member is earning or costing in real time — connected to the Xero you already run.

Project management tools like Asana, Trello and Monday show you what work is happening, but not what it is worth. CanTicket is job costing and project profitability software as well as a small business ERP — it tracks real-time margin on every job, so you manage profit, staffing and capacity, not just task status.

Yes. CanTicket offers a two-way Xero ERP integration that pulls real cost, payroll and invoice data straight from Xero and maps it to every job. Your job costing and margin reporting run on actual accounting numbers, not estimates — which is why it is popular accountant- and advisor-recommended small business software.

CanTicket is built for service and project-based small businesses — agencies, marketing and creative studios, consulting firms, IT services and professional services teams, typically between $500K and $5M in revenue. If you deliver work through people's time and need better ERP, staffing and profitability visibility than spreadsheets can give, CanTicket is for you.

CanTicket uses one flat per-seat price with everything included — job management, job costing, project profitability, real-time margin tracking, Xero integration and the AI team — with no feature gating and no per-tier gouging. See the pricing page for current rates.

Most teams migrate in a few clicks. Your boards, tasks, time and staffing come across from tools like Asana, Harvest and Trello, and CanTicket connects straight to Xero — so you are adding real-time margin and ERP visibility to your existing workflow, not rebuilding your small business software stack from scratch.

Yes. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, tenant-isolated per company, and never sold. Full detail on our security and privacy practices is on the security page.

Yes. Every AI action the CanTicket team takes — Madi checking margin, Atlas balancing capacity, Opti clearing admin — is metered and attributed to the job, client or department it ran for. AI consumption shows up as a real, itemised cost line alongside labour and expenses, not as an invisible platform fee, so you always know what the automation is costing you and where it is being spent.

AI is quietly becoming a real operating expense, and in most businesses it sits in a single unallocated software bill nobody can break down. Tracking consumption per job puts that spend where it actually belongs: your job costing and project profitability numbers include the cost to serve, your margin reporting stays honest, and the expense flows into Xero already coded — so your accountant, your board and your clients see the same defensible figure.
